Kurt Parry retained his position at the top of the table on Tuesday, after completing a clean sweep with five wins from five on Day Two and looks set to secure his place in Saturday’s finale, going into the final day of Group A on Wednesday.
Parry, who entered Tuesday’s play on 8 points from the opening day of Group A, won all five of his matches to remain at the top of the table.
The 31-year-old Red Dragon thrower recorded victories against Scott Taylor, Marvin Van Velzen, Anton Ostlund, Jim McEwan and David Mayle, to sit on 18 points from a possible 20 overall.
Elsewhere, Scott Taylor is the closest competitor to Parry, with the Series Six champion sitting in 2nd on 14 points, whilst Marvin Van Velzen and Jim McEwan sit 3rd and 4th respectively on 10 points each, with Anton Ostlund sitting in 5th on 6 points and David Mayle bottom on 2 points.
The Modus Super Series continues on Wednesday with the six players returning on the final day of Group A, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Parry leading the way thus far.
Players who finish in places 2-6 will be split into two groups in Thursday and Friday’s play with Afternoon and Evening sessions taking place on both days, as well as new players entering the fray. Play will begin at 9:30am GMT on Wednesday and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
