ADC Global Championship: Mould Into Finals

Adam Mould secured his place in Saturday’s Finale on Wednesday, after completing a clean sweep with five wins from five to end his Group A campaign, top, as the field was confirmed for Groups B and C at the ADC Global Championship.

Mould, who entered Wednesday’s play on 12 points from the opening two days of Group A, topped the group overall after winning all five of his matches and he surged through to claim the finale spot.

The former ADC order of merit winner recorded victories against Donny Scheurwater, Gary Stone, Marvin Van Velzen, Ivan Springborg Poulsen and James Welding, to end on 22 points from a possible 30 overall.

Elsewhere, Gary Stone and Marvin Van Velzen will both compete in Group B, after the pair finished 2^nd and 3^rd respectively overall, with Stone ending on 22 points and missing out on top spot due to legs won across three days of play, whilst Van Velzen ended on 20 points. The duo will be joined on Thursday and Friday Evening by James Welding and John Desreumaux.

James Welding, Donny Scheurwater and Ivan Springborg Poulsen will all compete in Group C, after finishing 4^th, 5^th and 6^th respectively overall, with Welding ending on 16 points, Scheurwater on 6 points and Springborg Poulsen on 4 points. The trio will be joined on Thursday and Friday Afternoon by Devon Petersen, James Bailey and Shane Hayward.

The ADC Global Championship continues on Thursday with Group C commencing from 1pm GMT and Group B commencing from 10pm GMT. Play will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
