Neil Duff, Richie Howson, Devon Petersen, Richie Burnett and Darryl Fitton all secured their places in Saturday’s Legends League finale on Friday.
The quintet came through their respective groups at the Modus Super Series, to join Steve Beaton, the winner of Group A earlier in the week.
Howson, who entered Friday’s play on 10 points from the opening day of Group C, topped the group overall after completing a clean sweep with five wins from five, as he recorded victories against Devon Petersen, Wes Newton, Robert Thornton, Trina Gulliver and Martin Adams, to end on a maximum 20 points from a possible 20.
Elsewhere, Devon Petersen also progressed through to Saturday’s finale, after finishing 2nd overall on 16 points, whilst Robert Thornton finished 3rd on 10 points, Wes Newton and Martin Adams finishing 4th and 5th respectively on 6 points each, with Trina Gulliver finishing bottom on 2 points.
In Group B, Neil Duff (Pictured) topped the group overall after completing a clean sweep with four wins from four, as he recorded victories against Darryl Fitton, Richie Burnett, Conan Whitehead and Chris Mason, to end on a maximum 16 points from a possible 16.
Elsewhere, Richie Burnett and Darryl Fitton also progressed through to Saturday’ finale, after the pair finished 2nd and 3rd respectively overall, with Burnett ending on 8 points and Fitton on 6 points, edging out Conan Whitehead, who also ended on 6 points, but missed out in 4th due to leg difference, whilst Chris Mason finished bottom on 4 points.
The Modus Super Series continues on Saturday with the conclusion of Legends League Week with the six players battling it out for the £5,000 top prize. Play will commence from 7:30pm GMT and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Pluto TV or via various
