Alec Small, Neil Meneer, Adam Sevada, Jack Tweddell and Ross Montgomery all secured their places in Saturday’s finale on Friday after coming through their respective groups at the Modus Super Series, to join Gary Stone, the winner of Group A earlier in the week.
Small, who entered Friday’s play on 8 points from the opening day of Group C, topped the group overall, after winning four of his five matches, as he recorded victories against Joe Croft, Neil Meneer, Scott Taylor and Bradly Roes, with his only defeat coming against Arne Spee, to end on 16 points from a possible 20 overall.
Elsewhere, Neil Meneer also progressed through to Saturday’s finale, after finishing 2nd overall on 16 points, whilst Scott Taylor finished 3rd on 14 points, Joe Croft in 4th on 8 points, Bradly Roes in 5th on 4 points and Arne Spee bottom on 2 points.
In Group B, Adam Sevada topped the group overall, after completing a clean sweep with four wins from four on Friday Evening, as he recorded victories against Ross Montgomery, Jack Tweddell, Richard Rowlands and Jake Womack, to end on a maximum 16 points from a possible 16 overall.
Elsewhere, Jack Tweddell and Ross Montgomery also progressed through to Saturday’s finale after the pair finished 2nd and 3rd respectively overall, with Tweddell ending on 10 points and Montgomery on 6 points, whilst Richard Rowlands and Jake Womack finished 4th and 5th on 4 points each.
The Modus Super Series continues on Saturday with the conclusion of Week One with the six players battling it out for just one spot up for grabs at Champions Week, with play commencing from 7:30pm GMT. Play will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Pluto TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
