Stonham Barns Park is staging a qualifying event for a Suffolk Super Series darts tournament on 8 March which will see the return of play at the Suffolk venue for 2025.
The event was won last year by Darren O’Neill from Essex who beat a strong turnout of players.
The event at The Barn will be one of 8 events taking place at venues throughout Suffolk – presented by Evolution Darts in association with Target Darts – leading to a finals day later in the year during December. Other events for 2025 in the series include The Mid Suffolk Masters on 10 May, Mid Suffolk Open with a £3K prize fund on 16 August and Grand Slam Doubles Darts on 8 November.
Players who have featured in last year’s events include Jack Langston, Stephen Burton, Ryan Meikle, England International Jo Locke, Kevin Edwards, Nathan Potter, Ashley Coleman and Stonham Barns Park-sponsored youth player Lennon Wharf who is just 11-years old.
The event – with a £8000 prize fund – sees competitors coming from all over the UK.
Stonham Barns Park has been hosting various darts events over recent years which have featured famous names from the world of darts including Russ Bray and Ipswich-based Keith Deller.
Said Darren Moyes from Evolution Darts, ‘We have got some great venues lined up for this 2025 Super Series event in a year when darts has never been more in the headlines – and we are delighted to be back at Stonham Barns Park which is a great venue for bigger darts events.’
‘This year we hit an even higher standard than before as some top professionals and amateurs stepped up to the events.’
‘We have some mega open events coming to Stonham Barns Park again this year – including a brand new Mid Suffolk Masters set play event and one for youth players – and we can’t wait to host them.’
The Super Series Darts Tournament is supported by Legends Bar and Café 24.
