Parry Into MSS Finale

Kurt Parry secured his place in Saturday’s finale on Wednesday, after winning three of his five matches to end his Group A campaign, top, as the field was confirmed for Groups B and C at the Modus Super Series.

Parry, who entered Wednesday’s play on 16 points from the opening two days of Group A, topped the group overall, after winning three matches from five, as he recorded victories against Ektoras Stylianou, Darren Brown and Reece Colley, with his two defeats coming against David Wawrzewski and Ted Evetts, to end on 22 points from a possible 30 overall.

Elsewhere, Ted Evetts and Reece Colley will both compete in Group B, after the pair finished 2^nd and 3^rd respectively overall, with Evetts ending on 22 points and missing out on an automatic spot due to leg difference, whilst Colley ended on 18 points. The duo will be joined on Thursday and Friday Evening by Reece Robinson, Mark McGeeney and Jamie Owens.

Darren Brown, David Wawrzewski and Ektoras Stylianou will all compete in Group C, after finishing 4^th, 5^th and 6^th respectively overall, with Brown ending on 16 points, Wawrzewski on 12 points and Stylianou on 0 points, having suffered fifteen straight defeats. The trio will be joined on Thursday and Friday Afternoon by Carl Wilson, Ricky King and Dan Nicholls.

The Modus Super Series continues on Thursday with Group C commencing from 1pm GMT and Group B commencing from 10pm GMT. Play will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Pluto TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
