Colin Osborne maintained his position at the top of the table on Tuesday, after winning four of his five matches on Day Two and looks set to secure his place in Saturday’s finale, going into the final day of Group A on Wednesday.
Osborne, a Darts World Ambassador, who entered Tuesday’s play on 10 points from the opening day of Group A, won four matches from five to remain at the top of the table.
The Wizard recorded victories against Noa-Lynn Van Leuven, Barry Copeland, Leonard Gates and Peter Wachiuri, with his only defeat coming against Donny Scheurwater, to sit on 18 points from a possible 20 overall.
Elsewhere, Noa-Lynn Van Leuven is the closest competitor to Osborne, with the 4x Women’s Series Event winner sitting in 2nd on 12 points, whilst Barry Copeland sits in 3rd on 10 points, Leonard Gates in 4th on 8 points, with Peter Wachiuri and Donny Scheurwater sitting 5th and 6th respectively on 6 points each.
The Modus Super Series continues on Wednesday with the six players returning on the final day of Group A, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Osborne leading the way thus far.
Players who finish in places 2-6 will be split into two groups for Thursday and Friday’s play with Afternoon and Evening sessions taking place on both days, as well as new players entering the fray.
Play will begin at 9:30am GMT on Wednesday and will be streamed live on The Modus YouTube channel, Pluto TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
