Worsley Leads MSS

Jon Worsley took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after winning four of his five matches, as Week Seven of Series Ten commenced at the Modus Super Series.

‘The Womble’, who last appeared at the Super Series back in October, made a long-awaited return by taking the early lead in Group A, after winning four matches from five, as he recorded victories against Antony Allen, Neil Duff, Rick Hessing and Andy McDermott, with his only defeat coming against Kevin Edwards, to sit on 8 points from a possible 10 thus far.

Elsewhere, Neil Duff and Kevin Edwards also ended the day on 8 points each, but sit 2^nd and 3^rd respectively behind Worsley on leg difference, whilst Andy McDermott sits in 4^th on 4 points, Antony Allen in 5^th on 2 points and Rick Hessing bottom on 0 points, having suffered five straight defeats on debut.

The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Worsley leading the way thus far. Play will begin at 9:30am GMT and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Pluto TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
