Neil Duff secured his place in Saturday’s finale on Wednesday, after completing a clean sweep with five wins from five to end his Group A campaign, top, as the field was confirmed for Groups B and C at the Modus Super Series.
Duff, who entered Wednesday’s play on 18 points from the opening two days of Group A, topped the group overall, after winning all five of his matches for the second day in a row, as he recorded victories against Andy McDermott, Jon Worsley, Kevin Edwards, Rick Hessing and Antony Allen, to end on 28 points from a possible 30 overall.
Elsewhere, Jon Worsley and Kevin Edwards will both compete in Group B, after the pair finished 2nd and 3rd respectively overall, with Worsley ending on 18 points and Edwards on 16 points. The duo will be joined on Thursday and Friday Evening by Conan Whitehead, Derek Coulson and Martyn Turner.
Antony Allen, Rick Hessing and Andy McDermott will all compete in Group C, after finishing 4th, 5th and 6th respectively overall, with Allen ending on 14 points, Hessing on 8 points and McDermott on 6 points. The trio will be joined on Thursday and Friday Afternoon by Charlie Manby, Lloyd Walker and Aaron Turner.
The Modus Super Series continues on Thursday with Group C commencing from 1pm GMT and Group B commencing from 10pm GMT. Play will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Pluto TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
