Petersen’s Portsmouth Run Continues

Play the Pro Darts Scorer

Devon Petersen was victorious on Saturday as he crowned the winner of Week Eight at the Modus Super Series, after defeating Andreas Harrysson in the final to secure a place in Champions Week and winning the weekly £5,000 top prize.

Petersen, who is the reigning ADC Global Champion after winning the inaugural title on the same Portsmouth stage last December, entered the finale having finished 3rd in Group B on Thursday and Friday, began the night by winning both of his group phase matches.

The African Warrior defeated Andreas Harrysson and Johnny Haines to progress through to the Semi Finals, where he came up against Graham Usher, and from there, Petersen defeated ‘The Gambler’ 4-1 to book his place in the final.

In the decider, Petersen came up against Andreas Harrysson for the second time on the night, who’d defeated Richard McKee in the last four, and once again, ‘The African Warrior’ whitewashed ‘Dirty Harry’ 4-0 to seal his place in Champions Week as well as collecting the £5,000 first prize.

The Modus Super Series returns on Monday with the start of Week Nine, with the first of three days of Group A commencing, with the field including Mervyn King and Steve West.

Play will commence from 9:30am GMT and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Pluto TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
