David Davies was victorious on Saturday as he was crowned the winner of Week 10 at the Modus Super Series, after defeating Jimmy Van Schie in the final to secure a place in Champions Week and winning the weekly £5,000 top prize.
Davies, who entered the finale having finished 2nd in Group C on Thursday and Friday, began the night by winning just one of his two group phase matches, as he firstly lost his opener to Jimmy Van Schie, before whitewashing Simon Whitlock to progress through to the Semi Finals.

At that stage, Davies came up against Tom Sykes and from there, the Welshman defeated the Englishman, 4-2, to book his place in the final.
In the decider, Davies would tackle the The Dutch Sequoia, Jimmy Van Schie, for the second time on the night, who’d defeated Brian Raman in the last four, and this time Davies got his revenge against the Dutchman, as he dispatched his opponent, 4-1, to seal a place at Champions Week once again, as well as collecting the top prize.
The Modus Super Series returns on Monday with the start of Week 11, with the first of three days of Group A commencing, with the field including Former Lakeside Champions in Steve Beaton and Richie Burnett.
Play will commence from 9:30am BST and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Pluto TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
