Christian Perez took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after winning four of his five matches, with Week 12 of Series Ten commencing at the Modus Super Series.
Former PDC Tour Card Holder, Perez, who was making his debut at the Super Series, made an excellent start by taking the early lead in Group A, after winning four matches from five, as he recorded victories against Jarred Cole, Keegan Brown, Johan Geldenhuys and John Henderson, with his only defeat coming against Lorenzo Pronk, to sit on 8 points from a possible 10 thus far.
Elsewhere, Lorenzo Pronk and John Henderson ended the day 2nd and 3rd respectively on 6 points each, whilst Keegan Brown and Johan Geldenhuys sit 4th and 5th on 4 points each, with Jarred Cole sitting bottom on 2 points.
The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Perez leading the way thus far.
