Andy Jenkins has been banned for 11 years after a Darts Regulation Authority (DRA) disciplinary committee found him guilty of match-fixing.

Jenkins, nicknamed ‘Rocky’ fixed 12 Super Series matches between February 2022 and July 2023.

The Englishman, a PDC World Darts Championship semifinalist  (2007), has been banned from all DRA events for 11 years. In addition he has been fined £17,580.

Jenkins, 54, denied match-fixing but admitted placing 88 bets on matches between March 2022 and May 2023, a clear breach of DRA rules. For breaching those rules around betting, Jenkins received an additional 12-month suspension which will run concurrently with his other punishments.

Jenkins has won more than a dozen titles in his long career, including on the Professional Darts Corporation Pro Tour as well as reaching the semi finals of both the UK Open and the News of the World event.

The Portsmouth throwers high point came during one of the most memorable World Championships. It took Dutch legend Raymond Van Barneveld to halt Rocky‘s run at the semifinal stage. The even concluded with the the inconic battle between Van Barneveld and Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor.

The ban runs from November 2023 until November 15, 2034. AST that point Jenkins will be 65-years-old and unlikely to play top level darts again.
