Stars from the world of darts reaffirmed the sports long time association with, and their support for the sport’s growth within, the Armed Forces with a special visit to HMS Queen Elizabeth.
Darts was recognised as a sport by the Armed Forces earlier in 2025 across the Army, Royal Navy and Royal Air Force.
Following an invitation from the Royal Navy Darts Association, PDC stars Alan Soutar and Keegan Brown joined MC John McDonald and referee Huw Ware in visiting HMS Elizabeth in Portsmouth.
The event with the ship’s company also featured Bullseye’s “Bully” character and gave darts players from the Royal Navy the chance to take on Soutar and Brown.
Our game and its stars have had a long history of support for causes similar to the above visit. Here is a great example from Darts World 230. Bobby George visiting troops and residents on the Falkland Islands in 1992.
