Andy Hamilton, Michael Huntley, Conor Heneghan, Reece Colley and Justin Smith all secured their places in Saturday’s finale on Friday after coming through their respective groups at the MODUS Super Series, to join Carl Sneyd, the winner of Group A earlier in the week.
Hamilton, who entered Friday’s play on 4 points from the opening day of Group C, topped the group overall after winning four of his five matches, as he recorded victories against Lorenzo Pronk, Ricardo Ulrich, Brandon Walsh and Michael Huntley, with his only defeat coming against Kelvin O’Keefe, to end on 12 points from a possible 20 overall.
Elsewhere, Michael Huntley also progressed through to Saturday’s finale, after finishing 2nd overall on 12 points, whilst three players in Ricardo Ulrich, Brandon Walsh and Lorenzo Pronk finished 3rd, 4th and 5th respectively on 10 points each, with Kelvin O’Keefe finishing bottom on 6 points.

In Group B, Conor Heneghan topped the group overall after completing a clean sweep with four wins from four on Friday Evening, as he recorded victories against David Fatum, Reece Colley, Justin Smith and Joe Croft, to end on 12 points from a possible 16 overall.
Elsewhere, Reece Colley and Justin Smith also progressed through to Saturday’s finale, after the pair finished 2nd and 3rd respectively overall on 8 points each, edging out Joe Croft, who also ended on 8 points, but missed out in 4th due to leg difference, whilst David Fatum finished bottom on 4 points.
The Modus Super Series continues on Saturday with the conclusion of Week Five with the six players battling it out for just one spot up for grabs at Champions Week, with play commencing from 7:30pm BST.
