Conan Whitehead took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after winning three of his five matches, as Week Seven of Series 11 commenced at the MODUS Super Series.
Whitehead, who last appeared at the Super Series back in March, made his return by taking the early lead in Group A after winning three matches from five, as he recorded victories against Thomas Banks, Chas Barstow and Jarred Cole, with his two defeats coming against Jimmy Van Schie and Reece Robinson, to sit on 6 points from a possible 10 thus far.
Elsewhere, remarkably four players in Jarred Cole, Chas Barstow, Reece Robinson and Jimmy Van Schie also ended the day on 6 points each, but sit 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th respectively behind Whitehead due to leg difference, whilst Thomas Banks sits bottom on 0 points having suffered five straight defeats.
The MODUS Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Whitehead leading the way thus far.
