The 2026 World Series of Darts Finals will see reigning champion Michael van Gerwen and world number one Luke Littler headline the field, with the qualifying criteria for September’s event now confirmed.
The PDC Premier event will see 32 stars from around the globe go head-to-head at AFAS Live from September 17-20, as the sport’s biggest names compete for silverware in Amsterdam.
The top 24 from the final World Series rankings will feature in the Dutch capital, with Van Gerwen currently occupying top spot on the latest standings following wins in Bahrain and Copenhagen earlier this year.
2024 World Series Finals champion Littler – a winner at the inaugural Saudi Arabia Darts Masters in January – will also return to Amsterdam alongside world number two Luke Humphries, who retained his US Darts Masters title in New York last month.
Should there be a tie for places, players will be split by PDC ranking where applicable. Should there be further ties, these would be split by legs won throughout the 2026 World Series of Darts and then by 2026 World Series of Darts overall average.
The remainder of the 32-player field will be comprised of the top four non-qualified players from the PDC Werner Rankings Ladder on August 23, while a further four players will come through the Tour Card Holder Qualifier on August 24.
The opening round will take place across two sessions on September 17-18, before round two is held across a double session on Saturday September 19.
The tournament will then conclude with a bumper Finals Day on Sunday September 20, featuring the quarter-finals on Sunday afternoon, followed by the semi-finals and final in the evening.
