Modus Super Series Week 8 Day 2
Conor Heneghan maintained his position at the top of the table on Tuesday, after winning all five of his matches on Day 2 and looks set to secure his place in Saturday’s finale, going into the final day of Group A on Wednesday.
Heneghan, who entered Tuesday’s play on 6 points from the opening day of Group A, won five matches from five and dropped just seven legs on route to recording victories over Moreno Blom, Steve Brown, Adam Smith-Neale, Andy Hamilton and Kevin Painter, as he sits on 16 points from a possible 20, heading into the final day of Group A.
Elsewhere, Andy Hamilton currently sits in 2nd on 14 points, after winning four matches from five on Tuesday, with Adam Smith-Neale sitting in 3rd on 12 points, Kevin Painter and Steve Brown 4th and 5th respectively on 8 points each and Moreno Blom bottom on 2 points.
The Modus Super Series continues on Wednesday with the six players returning on the final day of Group A, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Heneghan leading the way thus far. Players who finish in places 2-6 will be split into two groups in Thursday and Friday’s play with Afternoon and Evening sessions taking place on both days, as well as new players entering the fray. Play will begin at 9:30am GMT on Wednesday and will be streamed live on Online Darts TV YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
