Jelle Klaasen was victorious on Saturday as he crowned the winner of Week 3 at the Modus Super Series, after defeating Jack Main in the final to secure a place in Champions Week and winning the weekly £5,000 1st prize.
Klaasen, who entered Champions Week having won Group A earlier in the week, won just one of his group phase matches, as he defeated Jack Main, before losing out to Dom Taylor.
However, ‘The Cobra’ did secure his spot in the Semi Finals, where he came up against Ryan Furness, and the Dutchman defeated Furness 4-2 to book his place in the final.
In the decider, Klaasen came up against Jack Main for the 2nd time on the night and once again the Former World Champion defeated Main in a last leg decider, 4-3, to seal the Week 3 crown, secure his spot at Champions Week and pick up the £5,000 weekly 1st prize.
The Modus Super Series returns on Monday with the start of Week 4, with the first of three days of Group A commencing, with the field to be announced in due course.
Play will commence from 9:30am GMT and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Sporty Stuff TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
