Robinson Rules

Red Dragon Darts

Reece Robinson was victorious on Saturday as he was crowned the winner of Week Two at the Modus Super Series, after defeating Chas Barstow in the final to secure a place in Champions Week and winning the weekly £5,000 top prize.

Robinson, who entered the finale having finished 2nd in Group B on Thursday and Friday, won both of his group phase matches, by defeating Scott Walters and Mike Warburton, both in last leg deciders, to progress through to the Semi Finals, where he came up against Dom Taylor, and from there, Robinson came through another last leg decider to defeat Taylor and book his place in the final.

In the decider, Robinson came up against Chas Barstow, who defeated Scott Walters in the last four, and the Former Tour Card Holder was victorious, as he demolished Barstow 4-1 to take the Week Two crown, picking up the £5,000 top prize and joining Week One winner Danny Lauby in Champions Week.

The Modus Super Series returns on Monday with the start of Week Three, with the first of three days of Group A commencing, with the field including the likes of Neil Duff, Adam Hunt and Niall Culleton.

Play will commence from 9:30am BST and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Sporty Stuff TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
