Raman Returns

Red Dragon Darts

Brian Raman took the early lead on Monday ending Day One top of Group A. The Belgian won four of his five matches, as Week 10 of Series Six commenced at the Modus Super Series.

Raman, who lost his PDC Tour Card at the end of 2023, kick started his first Super Series appearance by taking the early lead in Group A.

The Riddler recorded victories against Alex Spellman, Lee Budgen, Tom Van den Hoogen and James Vanbesien, with his only defeat coming against Kurt Parry.

Elsewhere, Parry also ended the day on 8 points, but sits in 2nd behind Raman on leg difference, whilst Alex Spellman and James Vanbesien sit 3rd and 4th respectively on 6 points each, Tom Van den Hoogen in 5th on 2 points and Lee Budgen bottom on 0 points, having suffered five defeats from five.

The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Raman leading the way thus far.

Play will begin at 9:30am GMT and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Sporty Stuff TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
