Taylor Steps Up MSS Defence

Scott Taylor maintained his position at the top of the table on Tuesday, after winning all five of his matches on Day Two and looks set to secure his place in Saturday’s finale, going into the final day of Group A on Wednesday.

Taylor, who entered Tuesday’s play on 8 points from the opening day of Group A, completed a clean sweep with five wins from five to remain top of the table as the 32-year old looks to become only the second player to go back-to-back at Champions Week.

The Bolton player recorded victories against Neil Duff, Jimmy Hendriks, Nigel Lloyd, Antony Allen and Adam Lipscombe, to sit on 18 points from a possible 20 thus far.

Elsewhere, Neil Duff is the closest competitor to Taylor, with the Former WDF World Champion sat in 2^nd on 12 points, whilst Adam Lipscombe sits in 3^rd on 10 points, Antony Allen in 4^th on 8 points, with Jimmy Hendriks and Nigel Lloyd sitting 5^th and 6^th respectively on 6 points each.

The Modus Super Series continues on Wednesday with the six players returning on the final day of Group A, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Taylor leading the way thus far.

Players who finish in places 2-6 will be split into two groups for Thursday and Friday’s play with Afternoon and Evening sessions taking place on both days, as well as new players entering the fray.

Play will begin at 9:30am GMT on Wednesday and will be streamed live on The Modus YouTube channel, Sporty Stuff TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
