The Championship Tour is the flagship tier of the Amateur Darts Circuit System which began in 2022. The events are known for substantial prize pots, high quality conditions and an annual finals event.
A set number of events are played in high quality environments, close in style to the PDC’s tier tours. The top 8 overall are invited to a tour finals event.
Initially, for the 2022 (8) season the top prizes were £1000 with an addition £2000 to the overall champion.
In 2023 a Women’s Tour was added (8 events) and the main draw was expanded to 16 events over 4 weekends.
For this season the main draw top prize was a week at MODUS Super Series and the chance to earn £5,000 or even £25,000.
The Women’s Tour had £500 top prizes and another £2000 available for the winner of finals day (Deta Hedman) streamed at MODUS Live League.
With the launch of their Vault Series the ADC has a new main route for amteur players to earn a place at the Super Series.
Therefor The Championship Tour 2024 will again have £1000 top prizes for individual events, and will host a finals day, at the Live Lounge, for the top 8 in the main draw.
