After some incredible shocks this weekend, the field for the final session is in.
Top seed Ross Smith will take on the in form Gerwyn Price, and German number one Martin Schindler will take on Krzysztof Ratajski, who just took out Luke Littler.
Ross Smith
The number one seed coming into Dortmund, “Smudger” has been brilliant in 2026. He four finals, and a first two titles on the European Tour, capped off with his second Premier Event Title in Amsterdam at the World Series of Darts Finals just five weeks ago. Who did he beat in that final? That’s right – Gerwyn Price.
Smith comes into the Semi-Finals having not reached this stage in a ranking Premier Event since the 2024 Players Championship Finals, where he lost to a brilliant Littler performance. The only time he’s reached this stage was here in 2022, where he went on to claim his first major title.
Gerwyn Price
Gerwyn Price has had a brilliant 2026, his best year since he claimed the World Title in 2021. He had reached the Semi-Finals is all seven Premier Events in 2026, and is now looking to make his fourth consecutive Final. Despite this, he has been unable to get over the line since claiming the Grand Slam title almost five years ago.
The Welsh number one is also taking part in just a second Semi-Final at the European Championships, having only previously reached this stage back in 2019 at the Lokhalle in Gottingen. On that occasion, he did managed to see off Michael Smith, before losing to Rob Cross in the Final with a sub-85 average.
Martin Schindler
The German number one today made history. Having blasted past Jonny Clayton 10-1 in the Quarter-Final, he has become just the third German player to reach the Semi-Final stage of a PDC Premier Event, following in the footsteps of Max Hopp (2018) and Gabriel Clemens (2x 2023).
Having struggled for most of 2026, only just squeezing into the European Championship field with a win over Karel Sedlacek last Saturday, “the Wall” successfully won his first Quarter-Final at his third attempt, three years after losing at that stage in both the UK Open and the World Grand Prix. He is looking to become the first German to ever reach a Premier Final in the PDC.
Krzysztof Ratajski
Despite the result from Martin Schindler, Ratajski still managed to produce the upset of the day, taking out World number one Luke Littler 10-6 to move into just a third Premier Semi-Final of his career, five years after his first two. Like Schindler, he is bidding to become the first Polish player to reach a major Final, having lost at this stage to Van den Bergh in the 2021 World Matchplay and in the 2021 World Series Finals.
Tonight, history will be made for a European darting giant.
