The Sniper Guns Down The Wizard

Connor Scutt was victorious on Saturday as he was crowned the winner of Week Eight at the Modus Super Series, after defeating Colin Osborne in the final to secure a place in Champions Week and winning the weekly £5,000 top prize.

Scutt, who entered the finale having won Group A earlier in the week, began the night by winning both of his group phase matches, as he defeated Colin Osborne and Geert de Vos to progress through to the Semi Finals.

Here the Mission thrower came up against Fallon Sherrock, and from there, Scutt whitewashed ‘The Queen of the Palace’ 4-0 to book his place in the final.

In the decider, Scutt came up against Colin Osborne for the second time on the night, who’d defeated Ashley Coleman in the last four, after the Wizard used all his experience to reach the final match after an up and down week.

‘The Sniper’ defeated ‘The Wizard’ in a last leg decider, 4-3, to seal his place in Champions Week and collect the first prize cheque.

The Modus Super Series returns on Monday with the start of Week Nine, as the first of three days of Group A commences, with the field including Former Super Series Weekly winner Conor Heneghan.
