Darryl Pilgrim and Adam Lipscombe took the early lead on Thursday in ending Day One of their respective groups, top, as they look to join Andy Boulton in Saturday’s Finale at the ADC Global Championship.
In Group B, Darryl Pilgrim took the early lead, after winning three of his four matches, as he recorded victories against Thomas Banks, Bradly Roes and Sebastian Bialecki, with his only defeat coming against Bradley Brooks, to sit on 6 points from a possible 8 thus far.
Elsewhere in the group, Bradley Brooks also ended the evening on 6 points, but sits in 2nd behind Pilgrim due to leg difference, whilst Sebastian Bialecki sits in 3rd on 4 points, with Bradly Roes and Thomas Banks sit 4th and 5th respectively on 2 points each.
Lipscombe, who last appeared at the Live Lounge during the Super Series Influencer Event earlier this month, made his return by taking the early lead in Group C, after winning four of his five matches and recording victories against Gemma Hayter, Conor Heneghan, Andreas Nikolaou and James Richardson, with his only defeat coming against Brian Raman, to sit on 8 points from a possible 10 thus far.
Elsewhere, James Richardson and Brian Raman also ended the day on 8 points each, but sit 2nd and 3rd respectively behind Raman due to leg difference, whilst Conor Heneghan sits in 4th on 4 points, Andreas Nikolaou in 5th on 2 points and Gemma Hayter bottom on 0 points, having suffered five straight defeats.
The ADC Global Championship continues on Friday with players continuing to battle out as they aim to join Andy Boulton in Saturday’s Finale, with Lipscombe and Pilgrim taking the early lead thus far. Group C will commence from 1pm GMT and Group B will commence from 10pm GMT. Play will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
