Gates Through to MSS Finale

Leonard Gates secured his place in Saturday’s Double Trouble finale on Wednesday, after winning three of his five matches to end his Group A campaign, top, as the field was confirmed for Groups B and C at the Modus Super Series.

Gates, who entered Wednesday’s play on 12 points from the opening two days of Group A, topped the group overall, after winning three matches from five for the third day in a row, as he recorded victories against Robert Thornton, Neil Duff and Andreas Harrysson, with his two defeats coming against Simon Whitlock and Steve Beaton, to end on 18 points from a possible 30 overall.

Elsewhere, Andreas Harrysson and Robert Thornton will both compete in Group B, after the pair finished 2^nd and 3^rd respectively overall on 16 points each. The duo will be joined on Thursday and Friday Evening by Steve West, Ted Evetts and Ross Montgomery.

Steve Beaton, Simon Whitlock and Neil Duff will all compete in Group C, after finishing 4^th, 5^th and 6^th respectively overall, with Beaton ending on 16 points, Whitlock on 14 points and Duff on 10 points. The trio will be joined on Thursday and Friday Afternoon by Keegan Brown, Mark Dudbridge and Adrian Gray.

The Modus Super Series continues on Thursday with Group C commencing from 1pm GMT and Group B commencing from 10pm GMT. Play will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Pluto TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
