Cam Crabtree picked up his third Development Tour title in three days on Sunday, after defeating Jenson Walker in the final of Event Fifteen, as the third weekend of the PDC’s Youth Tour season ended in Hildesheim.
Crabtree, the winner of Friday’s Event 11 & Saturday’s Event 13, went all the way once again, as he reached the final firstly by recording victories against JJ Wright, Felix Springer, Keith Zahner, James Buckby, Florian Preis, Beau Greaves and Moreno Blom, to set up a clash with compatriot, Walker.
Experience proved to be vital throughout the final, as Crabtree rattled off five successive legs in 17,14,18,17 and 17 darts respectively to seal a 5-0 whitewash victory over Walker to claim a third title in five events as well as a further £2,500 in prize money.
The PDC Winmau Development Tour returns between 5-7th September with Events 16-20 taking place at Wigan’s Robin Park Leisure Centre. All live scores and results will be viewed via tv.dartconnect.com.
