Warwickshire, West Mids and The Black Country Prepare for Finale Fixtures

Play the Pro Darts Scorer

This weekend three West Midlands sides enter their final match ups and all have something to play for.

Warwickshire will be playing their final game of the season in the Cosmo Darts Premier Division of the UKDA National League, an away fixture against London. Going into the game Warwickshire, with 182 points are placed fourth in the divisional table and their hosts who already have one foot in the Andy Fisheries Championship for next season are bottom of the table with 142 points. So on current form the win should go to Warwickshire which could see them finish higher than their current fourth place.

Bringing the curtain down on the season will be: Men’s ‘A’:- Martin Tonks, Gareth Braham, Jack Wareing, Sam Whittaker, Jamie Hughes, Kevin Dowling, Matty Washbrook, Noel Grant, Nigel Heydon, Steve Hine, Danny Lauby, Wayne Mynard, Men’s ‘B’:- Adam Hancock, Mark Carter, Mark Faulkner, Mark Strong, Dave Hill, Ryan Jackson, Karl Reynolds, Lee Miller, Mark Martin, Jnr Joyce, Zac Prince, Sam Price, Reserves:- Will Naylor, Lloyd Jackson, Taylor Mcguckian, Women’s ‘A’:- Marian Conway, Wendy Adams, Caroline Pike, Natalie Gilbert, Hannah Meek, Kirsty Hinchliffe, Women’s ‘B’:- Nina Bolt, Clare Greenwood, Donna Pinch, Chloe McKivett Saunders, Jodie Rigg, Courtney Hine, Reserves:- Kacie O’Connor, Denise Keyte.

In the L-Style Division One West Midlands have their final fixture away to Leicestershire at the Enderby and District Social Club, 22-24 Coleridge Drive, Enderby, Leicestershire, LE19 4QF. West Midlands are currently second in the table with 198 points while their hosts are four places below them with 190 points, a win for the West Midlands could well see them promoted back to the Andy Wheeler Fisheries Championship Division, however third placed Clwyd, who are just five points behind West Midlands, have a home game against Devon, who are placed ninth in the division with 158 points, thirteen above the relegation zone, so a big win for Clwyd could see them overtake the Midlanders if they slip up.

In the same L-Style Division One, Black Country have a tough final home fixture against current divisional leaders Middlesex, who with 208 points have a ten points advantage over their nearest rivals West Midlands.

Although a difficult fixture, Black Country can still not be ruled out of the promotion race as with 191 points they are only seven points behind their local rivals and second placed West Midlands. There will be pressure throughout the weekend for both Black Country and West Midlands. What a finale!!
