Kirsi Viinikainen maintained her position at the top of the table on Tuesday, after winning three of her five matches on Day Two and looks to secure her place in Saturday’s finale, going into the final day of Group A on Wednesday.

Viinikainen, who entered Tuesday’s play on 10 points from the opening day of Group A, won three matches from five to remain at the top of the table, as she recorded victories against Gemma Hayter, Trina Gulliver and Natalie Gilbert, with her two defeats coming against Paige Pauling and Kirsty Hutchinson, to sit on 16 points from a possible 20 thus far.

Elsewhere, Gemma Hayter is the closest competitor to Viinikainen, with the 31-year-old sitting in 2^nd overall on 14 points, whilst Trina Gulliver sits in 3^rd on 10 points, Paige Pauling in 4^th on 8 points, with Natalie Gilbert and Kirsty Hutchinson sitting 5^th and 6^th respectively on 6 points each.

The MODUS Super Series continues on Wednesday with the six players returning on the final day of Group A, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Viinikainen leading the way thus far.

Players who finish in places 2-6 will be split into two groups on Thursday and Friday’s play with Afternoon and Evening sessions taking place on both days, as well as new players entering the fray. Play will begin at 9:30am BST on Wednesday and will be streamed on The MODUS YouTube channel, Pluto TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
