Target Darts have added another promising talent to their already star-studded roster, confirming the signing of London-based thrower Lee Cocks.
The Surrey-born player, known affectionately (and with a fair bit of swagger) as Crafty Cocksy, joins the likes of Luke Littler, Rob Cross, Stephen Bunting, Nathan Aspinall and Chris Dobey in donning the Target logo. And he’s not here to make up the numbers.
The 41-year old has laid out three clear ambitions following the move: to finish the 2025 Challenge Tour on a high, to secure a week win in the ever-competitive MODUS Super Series, and – the big one – to earn his PDC Tour Card at Q-School this January. No shortage of motivation, then.
With a sharp throw and an even sharper mindset, Lee has quietly built a strong reputation on the domestic scene. He currently boasts a 70% win rate representing London in County matches – not bad for someone now eyeing the professional circuit. That form hasn’t gone unnoticed, and Target have stepped in to help him push to the next level.
Cocks took to social media following the announcement, saying:
It’s out there now! Over the moon to be signed with the best company in my eyes. Thank you Target Darts – I’m buzzing to get started and look forward to working with you.”
The signing further cements Target’s commitment to identifying rising talent – their track record speaks volumes.
For Lee, it’s now about kicking on and proving he belongs in darting’s higher ranks. And if he brings the same confidence to the oche as he does to the nickname, the future could be very bright indeed. One thing’s for sure – Crafty Cocksy isn’t afraid to aim high. And with Target backing him, there’s every chance those goals start turning into reality.
