Neil Duff and Michael Huntley took the early lead on Thursday in ending Day One of their respective groups, top, as they look to join Richie Howson in Saturday’s finale at the MODUS Super Series.
In Group B, Neil Duff took the early lead after winning three of his four matches on Thursday Evening, as he recorded victories against Tommy Morris, Jamie Atkins and Nathan Potter, with his only defeat coming against Gemma Hayter, to sit on 6 points from a possible 8 overall.
Elsewhere, three players in Jamie Atkins, Nathan Potter and ended the evening 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively on 4 points each, whilst Tommy Morris sits bottom on 2 points.
Huntley, who last appeared at the Super Series back in June, made a perfect return by taking the early lead in Group C after completing a clean sweep with five wins from five, as he recorded victories against Charlie Martin, Thomas Banks, Robbie Martin, Michael Hansen and Jamie Lewis, to sit on a maximum 10 points from a possible 10 thus far.
Elsewhere, Michael Hansen and Thomas Banks ended the day 2nd and 3rd respectively on 6 points each, whilst Robbie Martin sits in 4th on 4 points, with Jamie Lewis and Charlie Martin sitting 5th and 6th on 2 points each.
The MODUS Super Series continues on Friday with players continuing to battle out as they aim to join Richie Howson in Saturday’s finale, with Huntley and Duff taking the early lead thus far. Group C will commence from 1pm BST and Group B will commence from 10pm BST.
