Charlie Manby took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after winning four of his five matches, with Week Five of Series 12 commencing at the MODUS Super Series.
Manby, who last appeared at the Super Series in August, made his return by taking the early lead in Group A, after winning four matches from five, as he recorded victories against Jenson Walker, Janis Pinka, Bradley O’Connor and Scott Taylor, with his only defeat coming against Rene Eidams, to sit on 8 points from a possible 10 thus far.
Elsewhere, Scott Taylor and Jenson Walker ended the day 2nd and 3rd respectively on 6 points each, whilst Rene Eidams and Janis Pinka sit 4th and 5th on 4 points each, with Bradley O’Connor sitting bottom on 2 points.
The MODUS Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Manby leading the way thus far.
