Evans Stretches to MODUS Super Series Victory

Play the Pro Darts Scorer

David Evans was victorious on Saturday as he was crowned the winner of Week Six at the Modus Super Series, after defeating Ashley Coleman in the final to secure a place in Champions Week and winning the weekly £5,000 top prize.

Evans, who entered the finale having finished 2nd in Group B on Thursday and Friday, began the night by winning both of his group phase matches, as he defeated Mark McGeeney and Graham Usher to progress through to the Semi Finals, where at that stage he came up against Lee Cocks and from there, Evans defeated his compatriot, 4-3, to book his place in the final.

In the decider, Evans came up against Ashley Coleman, who’d defeated Graham Usher in the last four, and nothing separated the pair throughout the tie before ‘Stretch’ sealed the victory in a last leg decider to secure a place at Champions Week once again as well as collecting the weekly first prize.

The MODUS Super Series returns on Monday for the start of Week Seven and the first of three days of Group A commencing, with the field including recent Series Winner Jeff Smith.

Play will commence from 9:30am BST and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Pluto TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
