John Henderson and Martin THomas took the early lead on Thursday in ending Day One of their respective groups, top, as they look to join Joe Croft in Saturday’s finale at the MODUS Super Series.
In Group B, John Henderson took the early lead after winning three of his four matches on Thursday Evening, as he recorded victories against Jamie Owens, Kevin Painter and Conor Heneghan, with his only defeat coming against Sam Spivey, to sit on 6 points from a possible 8 thus far.
Elsewhere, Jamie Owens also ended the night on 6 points, but sits in 2nd behind Henderson on leg difference, whilst Conor Heneghan and Sam Spivey sit 3rd and 4th respectively on 4 points each, with Kevin Painter sitting bottom on 0 points, having suffered four straight defeats.

Thomas, who last appeared at the Super Series back in June, made his return by taking the early lead in Group C after completing a clean sweep with five wins from five, as he recorded victories against Jason Heaver, Zereso Zeverboom, Joshua Burksfield, Jeff Smith and James Hubbard, to sit on a maximum 10 points from a possible 10 thus far.
Elsewhere, Joshua Burksfield and Jeff Smith ended the day 2nd and 3rd respectively on 6 points each, whilst Jason Heaver sits in 4th on 4 points, with James Hubbard and Zereso Zeverboom sit 5th and 6th on 2 points each.
The MODUS Super Series continues on Friday with players continuing to battle out as they aim to join Joe Croft in Saturday’s finale, with Thomas and Henderson taking the early lead thus far.
Players who finish in places 2-6 will be split into two groups for Thursday and Friday’s play with Afternoon and Evening sessions taking place on both days, as well as new players entering the fray.
Play will begin at 9:30am BST on Wednesday and will be streamed on the MODUS Super Series YouTube channel, Pluto TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
