Derek Coulson was victorious on Saturday as he was crowned the winner of Week Nine at the MODUS Super Series, after defeating Mark Dudbridge in the final to secure a place in Champions Week and winning the weekly top prize.
Coulson, who entered the finale having won Group B on Thursday and Friday, began the night by winning both of his group phase matches, as he defeated Mark Dudbridge and Alex Williams to progress through to the Semi Finals, where he came up against Jeffrey De Zwaan, and from there, Coulson defeated ‘The Black Cobra’ 4-3 to book his place in the final.

In the decider, Coulsen came up against Mark Dudbridge for the second time on the night, who’d defeated Jamie Hughes in the last four, and once again the Welshman got the better of ‘Flash’ as Coulsen sealed a 4-0 whitewash victory to seal his place in Champions Week once again as well as collecting the winner’s cheque.
The MODUS Super Series returns on Monday with the start of Week 10, with the first of three days of Group A commencing, with the field including Former PDC Tour Card Holders Devon Petersen and Graham Hall.
