Who is playing at Super Darts 2025?

Players from all across the world will be coming to participate, with several big names set to take part.

Beau Greaves

Beau Greaves enters SUPER DARTS 2025 with substantial momentum, after a dominant run in recent PDC and Grand Slam appearances. Most notably, she delivered a standout display in the Grand Slam of Darts group stage, winning five consecutive legs to defeat Niko Springer.

Despite being just 21 years old and this being her debut at the SUPER DARTS event, Greaves has proven she thrives on high-pressure stages. Whilst some may view this event as a warm-up for her return to the PDC World Darts Championship in December, Greaves will be focused on a result in Japan first.

The different format may pose challenges for others, but Greaves’ confidence and current form across competitions mark her out among the favourites.

Keita Ono

Ono, the 2017 SUPER DARTS champion, returns to the event on home soil with significant experience and a winning pedigree.

Eight years ago, Ono achieved the best 01 stats per match across the competition, and beat Scott Kirchner in the final leg by hitting a 9 mark to clinch the title. Ono further demonstrated his passion for the event during his outstanding performance during the Taichung qualifiers.

Hugo Leung

Leung has delivered quality performances in both steel and soft-tip format and qualifies for this event via the Hong Kong Tour.

His consistent performance in the PDC Asian Tour, reaching multiple semi finals in 2025, demonstrates his ability to play on the big stage.

Leung reached the Best 8 round at the SUPER DARTS tournament in 2024 and will be hoping to go all the way this year.

Boris Krcmar

Another big name ( in every way!) that UK / PDC fans will be familiar with is Krcmar is widely known for his regular presence in PDC tournaments but will once again make the transition to soft-tip competition in Japan this November.

Krcmar certainly has pedigree, securing his spot in the last 16 at the Belgian Darts Open and defeating three-time PDC World Champion Michael Van Gerwen en route earlier this year.

The Croatian’s most notable SUPER DARTS finish came as runner-up in 2015, and his wealth of experience participating in five previous events means he is one to watch this year.

Gaining entry to the tournament as a wild card this year, Krcmar’s still has memories of losing out in the final against Paul Lim at SUPER DARTS 2015, so he will arrive in Tokyo with something to prove. Boris Krcmar Super Darts

Seigo Asada

Asada enters the 2025 edition of SUPER DARTS as the defending champion and looking to become a back-to-back winner.

Asada’s composure was demonstrated this year through his dominating performances across the various events ensuring that he won the 2025 PDJ Steel Darts Japan Tour in October.

Asada has made clear his desire to win consecutive SUPER DARTS titles and he is viewed as one of the standout challengers.
