Charlie Manby and Jenson Walker took the early lead on Thursday in ending Day One of their respective groups, top, as they look to join Derek Coulsen in Saturday’s Champions Week finale at the Modus Super Series.
Manby, who entered Group C having finished 5th in Group A earlier in the week, took the early lead after winning four of his five matches, as he recorded victories against David Pallett, Alec Small, Dean Finn and David Evans, with his only defeat coming against Carl Wilkinson, to sit on 8 points from a possible 10 thus far.
Elsewhere, Alec Small and David Pallett ended the day 2nd and 3rd respectively on 6 points each, whilst Carl Wilkinson and Dean Finn sit 4th and 5th on 4 points each, with David Evans sitting bottom on 2 points.

In Group B, Jenson Walker took the early lead after winning three of his four matches on Thursday Evening, as he recorded victories against Tom Sykes, Jamie Owens and Neil Duff, with his only defeat coming against Keegan Brown, to sit on 6 points from a possible 8 thus far.
Elsewhere, three players in Neil Duff, Jamie Owens and Keegan Brown ended the night 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively on 4 points each, whilst Tom Sykes sits bottom on 2 points.
The Modus Super Series continues on Friday with players continuing to battle out as they aim to join Derek Coulsen in Saturday’s Champions Week finale, with Manby and Walker taking the early lead thus far. Group C will commence from 1pm GMT and Group B will commence from 10pm GMT.
