Keanu Van Velzen was victorious on Saturday as he was crowned the winner of Week Two at the MODUS Super Series, after defeating Tommy Morris in the final to secure a place in Champions Week and winning the weekly £5,000 top prize.
Van Velzen, who entered the finale having won Group C on Thursday and Friday, began the night by winning both of his group phase matches as he defeated David Wawrzewski and Rob Grundy in last leg deciders to progress through to the Semi Finals, where he came up against Mark Dudbridge and from there, the Dutchman whitewashed Dudbridge 4-0 to book his place in the final.

In the decider, Van Velzen came up against Tommy Morris, who’d defeated Rob Grundy in the last four, and it was the 22-year-old who got the better of ‘The Gun’ as Van Velzen defeated Morris 4-2 to secure a place at Champions Week as well as collecting the £5,000 first prize.
The MODUS Super Series returns on Monday for the start of Week Three and the first of three days of Group A commencing, with the field including Former PDC World Cup of Darts Finalist Steve Lennon.
