Archie Self and Carl Wilson took the early lead on Thursday in ending Day One of their respective groups, top, as they look to join Patrik Williams in Saturday’s finale at the MODUS Super Series.
Self, who entered Group C having finished bottom of Group A, took the early lead after winning four of his five matches, as he recorded victories against Tommy Lishman, Scott Campbell, Lars-Erik Lindgreen and Aaron Gill, with his only defeat coming against Lewis Gurney, to sit on 8 points from a possible 10 thus far.
Elsewhere, three players in Scott Campbell, Tommy Lishman and Lewis Gurney sit 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively on 6 points each, whilst Aaron Gill sits in 5th on 4 points and Lars-Erik Lindgreen bottom on 0 points having suffered five straight defeats.

In Group B, Carl Wilson took the early lead after winning three of his four matches on Thursday Evening, as he recorded victories against Radek Szaganski, Steve Lennon and Johnny Haines, with his only defeat coming against Paul Hogan, to sit on 6 points from a possible 8 thus far.
Elsewhere, three players in Radek Szaganski, Paul Hogan and Steve Lennon ended the night 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively on 4 points each, whilst Johnny Haines sits bottom on 2 points.
The MODUS Super Series continues on Friday with players continuing to battle out as they aim to join Patrik Williams in Saturday’s finale, with Self and Wilson taking the early lead thus far.
