Ashley Coleman, Tom Lonsdale, Robbie Martin, Jamie Owens and Colin Osborne (pictured) all secured their places in Saturday’s finale on Friday after coming through their respective groups at the Modus Super Series, to join Derek Coulson, the winner of Group A earlier in the week.
Coleman, who entered Friday’s play on 8 points from the opening day of Group C, topped the group overall after winning four of his five matches again, as he recorded victories against Tom Lonsdale, Nico Plovier, Jamie Hughes and Martyn Turner, with his only defeat coming against Jonathan Platt, to end on 16 points from a possible 20 overall.
Elsewhere, Tom Lonsdale also progressed through to Saturday’s finale, after finishing 2nd overall on 14 points, whilst Jamie Hughes finished 3rd on 12 points, Martyn Turner in 4th on 8 points, Nico Plovier in 5th on 6 points and Jonathan Platt bottom on 4 points.
In Group B, Robbie Martin topped the group overall after winning three of his four matches on Friday Evening, as he recorded victories against Jim Widmayer, Darren Webster and Colin Osborne, with his only defeat coming against Jamie Owens, to end on 12 points from a possible 16 overall.
Elsewhere, Jamie Owens and Colin Osborne also progressed through to Saturday’s finale, after the pair finished 2nd and 3rd respectively overall.
Owens ending on 12 points and was unlucky not to top the table. Meanwhile, Darts World Ambassador Osborne used all his experience to edge past Darren Webster, with both ending on 6 points. Webster’s defeat to Jim Widmayer saw him miss out in 4th due to leg difference, whilst the valliant Captain America finished bottom on 4 points.
The MODUS Super Series continues on Saturday with the conclusion of Week Four with the six players battling it out for just one spot up for grabs at Champions Week, with play commencing from 7:30pm GMT.
