Dennant Darts Into MODUS Super Series Lead on Day 4

Matt Dennant and Scott Taylor took the early lead on Thursday in ending Day One of their respective groups, top, as they look to join Ron Meulenkamp in Saturday’s finale at the MODUS Super Series.

Dennant, who last competed at the Super Series back in November 2023, made a long awaited return by taking the early lead in Group C after completing a clean sweep with five wins from five.

The Midlander recorded victories against Danny Lauby, George Monios, Adam Winspear, Andy Davidson and Joe Murnan, to sit on a maximum 10 points from a possible 10 thus far.

Elsewhere, Andy Davidson ended the day in 2nd on 8 points, whilst Joe Murnan sits in 3rd on 6 points, Danny Lauby in 4th on 4 points, Adam Winspear in 5th on 2 points and George Monios bottom on 0 points having suffered five straight defeats.

In Group B, Scott Taylor took the early lead after completing a clean sweep with four wins from four on Thursday Evening, as he recorded victories against Simon Whitlock, Alec Small, Mason Whitlock and Reece Robinson, to sit on a maximum 8 points from a possible 8 thus far.

Elsewhere, Reece Robinson ended the night in 2nd on 6 points, whilst Simon Whitlock sits in 3rd on 4 points, Alec Small in 4th on 2 points and Mason Whitlock bottom on 0 points having suffered four straight defeats.

The MODUS Super Series continues on Friday with players continuing to battle out as they aim to join Ron Meulenkamp in Saturday’s finale, with Dennant and Taylor taking the early lead thus far.

Group C will commence from 1pm GMT and Group B will commence from 10pm GMT.
