Globally renowned manufacturer Target Darts have secured the signature of one of the sport’s most scintillating emerging prodigies, 20-year-old Charlie Manby.
It has been something of a meteoric whirlwind several months for the gifted Yorkshireman who, having clinched his maiden Professional Darts Corporation status via a magnificent and authoritative campaign on the Development Tour, subsequently enjoyed a highly credible and commendable run at Alexandra Palace, ultimately denied a place in the quarter-finals by eventual runner-up Gian van Veen.
Thereafter, following a solid and encouraging initiation to life on the Pro Tour – reaching the last eight in each of his most recent couple of outings – he has now been swiftly acquired by Target Darts, an organisation boasting a veritable constellation of elite performers, most notably including reigning World Champion Luke Littler.

With an abundance of innate talent and youth emphatically on his side, Champagne Charlie will be aspiring to uncork many more celebratory moments in the years ahead, steadily ascending into the upper echelons of the professional circuit.

Speaking with palpable enthusiasm regarding the landmark signing, Manby said:
“Signing with Target is a massive step for me in my career. I’ve worked hard to get to this point and I’m excited to be joining some amazing players. Now it’s about kicking on and making the most of the opportunity. I’m buzzing to get started and see how far I can go.”
