Derek Coulsen took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after winning four of his five matches, as Champions Week of Series 13 commenced at the Modus Super Series.
Coulsen, who entered Champions Week having won Week Four back in February, made his return to the Live Lounge by winning four matches from five to take the early lead, as he recorded victories against Graham Hall, Nathan Potter, Jack Drayton and Simon Stevenson, with his only defeat coming against Chas Barstow, to sit on 8 points from a possible 10 thus far.

Elsewhere, Simon Stevenson and Nathan Potter ended the day 2nd and 3rd respectively on 6 points each, whilst Chas Barstow and Jack Drayton sit 4th and 5th on 4 points each, with Graham Hall sitting bottom on 2 points.
The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Champions Week Finale, with Coulsen leading the way thus far.
