Coulson Maintains MODUS Champions Week Lead in Darts

Derek Coulsen maintained his position at the top of the table on Tuesday, after winning four of his five matches on Day Two and looks set to secure his place in Saturday’s Champions Week Darts Finale, going into the final day of Group A on Wednesday.

Derek, who entered Tuesday’s play on 8 points from the opening day of Group A, won four matches from five to remain at the top of the table, as he recorded victories against Simon Stevenson, Jack Drayton, Nathan Potter and Graham Hall, with his only defeat coming against Chas Barstow, to sit on 16 points from a possible 20 thus far.

Elsewhere, Jack Drayton is the closest competitor to Coulsen, with the Englishman sitting in 2^nd overall on 12 points, whilst Simon Stevenson sits in 3^rd on 10 points, Nathan Potter and Chas Barstow sitting 4^th and 5^th on 8 points each and Graham Hall sitting bottom on 6 points.

The Modus Super Series continues on Wednesday with the six players returning on the final day of Group A, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Champions Week Finale, with Coulsen leading the way thus far.

Players who finish in places 2-6 will be split into two groups during Thursday and Friday’s play with Afternoon and Evening sessions taking place on both days, as well as new players entering the fray.
