Murschell Moves Into MSS Darts Lead

Dawson Murschell moved to the top of the table on Tuesday, after winning four of his five matches on Day Two and looks to secure his place in Saturday’s finale, going into the final day of Group A on Wednesday.

Murschell, who entered Tuesday’s play on 8 points from the opening day of Group A, won four matches from five again to go top of the table, as he recorded victories against Jack Smith, Neven Resetar, Danny Baggish and Jeff Smith, with his only defeat coming against Conan Whitehead, to sit on 16 points from a possible 20 thus far.

Elsewhere, Danny Baggish is the closest competitor to Murschell, with ‘The Gambler’ sitting in 2^nd overall on 14 points, whilst Jeff Smith sits in 3^rd on 10 points, Conan Whitehead and Jack Smith sitting 4^th and 5^th on 8 points each and Neven Resetar sitting bottom on 4 points.

The MODUS Super Series continues on Wednesday with the six players returning on the final day of Group A, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Murschell leading the way thus far. Players who finish in places 2-6 will be split into two groups in Thursday and Friday’s play with Afternoon and Evening sessions taking place on both days, as well as new players entering the fray.
