Henry Coates was victorious on Saturday as he was crowned the winner of Week Three at the MODUS Super Series darts, after defeating Richard McKee in the final to secure a place in Champions Week and winning the weekly £5,000 top prize.
Henry, who entered the finale having won Group A earlier in the week, began the night by winning both of his group phase matches, as he defeated Richard McKee and Graham Usher to progress through to the Semi Finals, where he came up against Pete Hughes and from there, Coates defeated his compatriot, 4-1, to book his place in the final.

In the decider, Coates came up against Richard McKee for the second time on the night, who’d defeated Aden Kirk in the last four, and once again the teenager got the better of his compatriot, as Coates sealed a 4-1 victory to join Michael Huntley and Neil Duff in Champions Week of Series 14 as well as collecting the £5,000 first prize.
The MODUS Super Series returns on Monday with the start of Week Four, with the first of three days of Group A commencing, with the field including 2006 Lakeside Champion Jelle Klaasen.
