Archie Self and Danny Trueman took the early lead on Thursday in ending Day One of their respective groups, top, as they look to join Jelle Klaasen in Saturday’s Finale at the MODUS Super Series darts.
In Group B, Archie Self took the early lead after completing a clean sweep with four wins from four on Thursday Evening, as he recorded victories against Kurt Parry, Richie Howson, James Buckby and William Borland, to sit on a maximum 8 points from a possible 8 thus far.
Elsewhere, Kurt Parry ended the night in 2nd on 6 points, James Buckby in 3rd on 4 points, William Borland in 4th on 2 points and Richie Howson bottom on 0 points having suffered four straight defeats.

Trueman, who entered Group C having finished 4th in Group A earlier in the week, took the early lead after winning four of his five matches, as he recorded victories against Josh McCarthy, Peter Jacques, Lloyd Walker and George Killington, with his only defeat coming against Arne Spee, to sit on 8 points from a possible 10 thus far.
Elsewhere, Josh McCarthy and George Killington ended the day 2nd and 3rd respectively on 6 points each, whilst Lloyd Walker and Arne Spee sit 4th and 5th on 4 points each, with Peter Jacques sitting bottom on 2 points.
The MODUS Super Series continues on Friday with players continuing to battle out as they aim to join Jelle Klaasen in Saturday’s Finale, with Trueman and Self taking the early lead thus far. Group C will commence from 1pm BST and Group B will commence from 10pm BST.
