Morris Maintains MODUS Lead

Tommy Morris maintained his position at the top of the table on Tuesday, after winning four of his five matches on Day Two and looks to secure his place in Saturday’s Finale, going into the final day of Group A on Wednesday.

Tommy, who entered Tuesday’s play on 10 points from the opening day of Group A, won four matches from five to remain at the top of the table, as he recorded victories against Twna Uriot, John Henderson, Danny Lauby and Steve Green, with his only defeat coming against George Cressey, to sit on 18 points from a possible 20 thus far.

Elsewhere, George Cressey is the closest competitor to Morris, with the Englishman sitting in 2^nd on 14 points, whilst John Henderson sits in 3^rd on 12 points, Twan Uriot in 4^th on 8 points, with Steve Green and Danny Lauby sitting 5^th and 6^th on 4 points each.

The Modus Super Series continues on Wednesday with the six players returning on the final day of Group A, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Morris leading the way thus far. Players who finish in places 2-6 will be split into two groups for Thursday and Friday’s play with Afternoon and Evening sessions taking place on both days, as well as new players entering the fray.
