There’s never a dull moment when you’re the mascot of Britain’s favourite darts-based game show!
Over the last few months, I’ve found myself travelling from television studios, aircraft carriers, charity events and packed-out darts nights, all in the name of Bullseye, darts and raising money for some brilliant causes along the way.
First up, I’m absolutely thrilled to say that Bullseye was back in a celebrity special on ITV as part of this year’s Soccer Aid for UNICEF line-up. To see Bullseye sitting alongside such iconic entertainment shows for such an important cause for children all around the world was something very special indeed.

Of course, Bullseye and darts have always been about bringing people and families together, and that spirit was on full display during a truly unforgettable evening on board HMS Prince of Wales. As part of a special darts night organised to entertain the troops following their return from an eight-month deployment. Joining PDC player Alan Soutar and his team, it was an honour to attend such a unique event and to spend time with so many serving personnel onboard one of the Royal Navy’s most impressive ships.

Back on dry land, the community fundraising events have continued too, with a fantastic day hosted by two legends of the darts world, John McDonald and Russ Bray, in what can only be described as a charity darts competition extravaganza, all in aid of raising funds for the restoration of the Wye Princess community river boat, Hereford.
Once all the restoration work is completed, the Wye Princess will provide enriching experiences and opportunities for those who may not otherwise have access to activities on the beautiful River Wye.
To be able to support community fundraisers and grassroots charitable initiatives is something that means a great deal, and it is a privilege to be involved in events that help make a genuine difference to local communities and worthwhile causes. Thank you so much to John and Russ for making it all happen.

For now, that’s all from me. Have a fantastic summer, and I look forward to catching up with you again in the August edition, when I’ll be sharing my latest Bullseye adventures.
